Hi, I'm Genevieve; an enthusiastic English teacher currently living in sunny South Africa. I have completed my Bachelor of Education where I have majored in English. In my spare time, I enjoy playing my guitar and piano and have a sharp set of culinary skills from time spent previously as a chef. I thoroughly enjoy experiencing and learning about new cultures and I've traveled to over 26th different countries and islands.Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching for 10 years , 6 of which have been online. With National colors and competitive awards for speaking nationally in the categories of debate, forum discussion, and drama, I have been able to extend my talent for public speaking to my students; it is with this particular skill set that I use fun and expressive dialog and interactive discussion to incorporate an interesting environment for learning. I particularly excel with assisting students to advance in conversational and business English and I'd love to assist you with your IELTS/CAE preparation!My lessons & teaching style
Upon our first lesson together I will assess your command of the English Language and conduct a needs analysis that will determine your level, weaknesses, and strengths within the language. I will then structure a personalized lesson plan, focusing on either written/spoken grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing ability depending on your language learning goals together with continuous assessment and feedback we can improve your flexibility and fluency with English and I look forward to being a part of your success!My teaching material
