I teach German at a global language school and I have more than 7 years of experience teaching private students online and in person. I grew up in Germany, Greece and Portugal. I finished high school (Abitur) in Germany before living in Ecuador for one year. Then I moved back to Berlin in order to complete a Bachelor of Administration, Politics and Organisation and a Degree in Contemporary Dance.For the past year I have been living in Salt Lake City,United States to develop my skills as a dancer and a language teacher. I was trained by a global language school, where I have been working since then. I am grateful to share my passion for teaching with dance and language students everyday.Me as a Teacher
My work as a teacher includes teaching groups, kids and private students and preparing them for exams from beginners to B2. Some of my students want to improve their skills in order to study in Germany or a German-speaking country. Others need to improve their language skills because of their work in a corporate environment.
My classes focus on language skills, such as fluency for professional and private settings, preparing for job interviews or presentations, and dealing with all kind of real-life situations the students may face.My lessons & teaching style
I want you to feel comfortable and open for learning something new in my class. I like a conversational teaching style, because I want you to be able to confidently use what you've learned . We'll focus on speaking but we will also work on grammar always keeping in mind your personal goals and needs. Practical vocabulary and grammar is always presented in the context of real-life situations . In the first class we'll find out your level, motivations and goals, so that I can tailor each lesson for you. We will then place ourselves in a real-life situation and we will practice vocabulary, expressions and grammar through conversation, then we do a role-play to apply what you've learned.5.0

I’m a beginner and conversational practice is extremely difficult for me. I second guess myself constantly and have very little confidence. Judith is one of the only people I feel comfortable practicing with. She’s very patient, kind, and helpful. I always learn a great deal from our classes. I probably shouldn’t say this, but she should be charging more. She’s totally worth it!

She explains complicated questions in an easy-to-understand way, corrects me when necessary, and provides additional examples. Lessons with Judith are fun. It’s been a long time since I had a proper language lesson and I was pretty rusty but Judith was amazing at getting me talking right from the start and created a really relaxed and friendly environment. I especially liked how the lesson was structured and learnt a lot of new words and grammar. Feeling very motivated to put in some practice for the next lesson.
