Professor of Arabic for ten years, Vice Dean of the Foreign languages Faculty at IAU University. Hello, I'm Ali! I am from Syria, but now I live in Istanbul. I'm a professor of Arabic at Istanbul Aydın University for 10 years, and I am the Vice Dean of foreign languages at Istanbul Aydın University. I teach Arabic dialects, modern Arabic, and classical Arabic. I am also the editor-in-chief of Aydin Journal in Istanbul for Arabic Studies. I obtained a BA in Arabic from Al-Da’wah University in Libya and a BA in Energy Engineering from Damascus University; then, I obtained a master’s degree in teaching Arabic and a Ph.D. in Arabic. Just started Levantine Arabic with Dr. Ali after I learned a lot MSA. I must say I enjoyed it very much. Dr. Ali has also besides MSA a clear concept about how to teach Levantine Arabic too. I am very excited to discover it. Thank you very much.

our lessons are based on an insightful book that he wrote and in addition to that usually our conversations stray into social/cultural topics, both of which are really interesting
