Practical German lessons with a background in Laboratory Medicine and an interest in Holistic Health Hello, I'm Stefanie. As a native Bavarian, I have been residing in Switzerland for nearly two decades, where I work professionally as a biomedical analyst. My passion for languages has led me to engage in numerous tandem partnerships, through which I discovered my enthusiasm for teaching German in a relaxed, practical, and culturally enriched manner. My interests include travel, mountain hiking, winter sports, and aromatherapy. Planning a trip to a German-speaking country? Perfect! I can assist you in mastering not only the language but also the cultural nuances. In 2022 I started as a community tutor by teaching german. I also have a lot of experiences with tandem partners and with online language learning ( Italki and others). I think, I`m patient and I know about the challenges by learning a foreign language. For me, it`s also important to have fun, not only grammar tasks... By the way I speak High German with a little Bavarian accent. I also understand Swiss German but I don't teach it, because it is not my native language. Conversation is very important for me by learning a foreign language. But we also need some grammar. We can talk about different topics, reading texts, I can give you some homework... I can tell you a lot about Germany and Switzerland, just tell me, what you want. It depends on your level in German, I think, we can talk about your goals in the first lesson. By the way, I also have some interesting books for learning German.
