About Me

I was born and raised in Bulgaria and hold degrees in Political Science and Law from the University of Freiburg, Germany, where I lived for ten years. For the past eighteen years, I have been based in Spain, working as a professional language teacher. I am fluent in Bulgarian, English, German, and Spanish (C2 DELE), and my career has been dedicated to helping students achieve their language goals. My expertise lies in exam preparation for official certifications such as Cambridge, Trinity, Goethe Institut, and telc. In addition to teaching both group and individual courses—intensive and regular—I have extensive experience in level assessment and organising mock exams.
Language coaching naturally flows into my work: I help my students structure their language learning process and provide them with useful tips on goal-setting, time- management and efficient learning.
In my courses, I create a study plan based on the level, the pace of work and the interests of the student. I also create materials which cover specifically the grammar and vocabulary we have introduced in class.
I also write - irregularly, but as a long-term project: In my blog "Me llamo Rojo" I share essays, stories, literary reviews and insights.My teaching material
