I believe that reading sentences aloud repeatedly is the most effective way to improve our language skills. Do you agree with that? 🧐My lessons & teaching style
🌟 I teach in English for beginners' class and in Japanese for intermediate and upper class, but it flexibly changes depending on the learner's level.
I use many Power Point slides that has various images and audio files from Japanese textbooks できる日本語.
📔 I normally assign you some homework after class.
👉 In grammar class I will lead you to guess what the characters in the pictures are likely to say, using with your Japanese. After that, you will listen to dialogue of what the characters actually conversed. At the first listening, you will listen to the dialogue without the script so you can examine how much and which part you can understand, before you practise listening & speaking. My teaching material

Japanese TeacherI have been teaching the Japanese language and culture to students of every grade of the Japanese department. Having worked there for a year, I have learnt a lot of various important tips of teaching. One of them is how we teachers stimulate learners so that they can keep on motivated to study. To be specific, at any time during my class, I made a point of catching students’ attention, by sometimes asking them simple questions or joking so that they can relax, for example.

Japanese-English TranslatorI worked as a translator in I.C.T. (international coordination team) in a subsidiary of Nintendo, Kyoto. The main task was translating computer malfunctions, game specifications, work instructions, made by Nintendo developers or game testers, written in Japanese, into English so that they can be shared with our colleagues in another subsidiary in Seattle in the US. It was approximately 80 percent that Japanese to be translated into English.

できる日本語の第六課を勉強しました。楽しかたですね!
「できる日本語」の教科書は、たくさん写真がありますから、好きです。「できる日本語」は「げんき」より面白いですよ。
Yoshi-sensei’s 「できる日本語」classes work well for me because I’m a visual learner. He encourages me to first guess what the characters in the pics are likely to say using what I already learned. After which, we will listen to a dialogue about what the characters actually conversed.
Sensei is great at explaining the nuances of similar words/grammar by illustrating how Japanese culture plays a part, giving example sentences and the appropriate situations to use each word.
Thank you for giving me homework after every lesson. It really helps to reinforce I have learned in class.
