Hello and welcome to my profile! My name is Emma! I'm from Cork in the south of Ireland but I now live in Japan! 私のプロフィールによこそ！エマと申します！南アイルランドのコークの出身なんで,今日本に住んでいます！ I love learning languages and studied French, German and Japanese in university, so I know what it's like to learn a language. 言語を学ぶことが好きで、大学でフランス語、ドイツ語と日本語を勉強しましたので、言語学習の経験があります。 Being able to speak to someone in their native language is a very powerful skill (not to mention the key to their heart!) and this is what inspired me to want to help people learn English. I hope to see you in my lesson! 誰かの母国語で話せるのは、強力なスキルで、ビジネスであれ、恋愛であれ、友達であれ間違いなく相手との距離感を縮める鍵になります。これが、私が英語を教え始めたきっかけです。レッスンに会えるのが待ちしていますね！

Me as a Teacher

My students usually tell me that they feel comfortable to be themselves and make mistakes in my class. 私の生徒によると、私のレッスンでは自分らしくいることや間違いをしても大丈夫と感じているそうです。 Mistakes are important for improvement, so the more the better! 上達するために、間違いをすることが大事です。 I am open to your feedback and your input into the lessons as I truly want to create an experience that works for you! 私は、生徒さんにとって役立つレッスンを作りたいと心から願っているので、フィードバックやレッスンへのご意見があればください！

My lessons & teaching style

I do recommend that you take a trial lesson, however, I will always make contact with you before our first lesson to allow me to prepare a little for our first class. 体験レッスンを受けることをお勧めしますが、レッスンの準備できるよう、前に必ず連絡を取ります。 We will have a chat to see what your level is and find possible topics of interest so I can adjust the class to fit you. レベルを確認し、興味のあるトピックが分かるために、話をして、生徒さんに合ったレッスンを調整します。 After each class, students are provided with notes of key vocabulary used during class. 各レッスンの後に語彙のメモと訂正を共有します！
