Silvia really is a brilliant teacher/coach. We've worked together for several years now on improving my Spanish for work, and she has helped me to take strong ownership of my learning, understanding techniques that work really well for me (and not just for my language learning but also for other aspects of my life). She has helped me to realize that sometimes it's a mental rather than grammatical block that is affecting my fluency, and has given me tools to address that. And she has supported me in always being clear what I'm trying to achieve - to know what is 'good enough' for my own purposes. This has given me much greater confidence in working in Spanish by not striving for some unrealistic standard. One of the benchmarks I set myself was to be complemented by one of my Spanish-speaking work colleagues about how good my language was, and recently that happened. That was a lovely achievement and concrete recognition of what I've achieved together with Silvia's fantastic support!

We have been so lucky to find Silvia. My daughter looks forward to her lessons with Silvia and has learned so much Spanish already. She makes the lessons fun and engaging - she really knows how to get a teenager interested in learning a language. She is organized and has her own materials and resources she brings in. She is very motivating and makes language-learning fun!
