Hello Everyone! My name is Carrie and I am an English Language Teacher! I have a Masters Degree in TESOL and a TEFL Teaching Certificate. I have 9 years of experience teaching English language learners of all different ages and from many different countries around the world, in both online classes and in-person language schools. I love to travel, meet new people, learn about new cultures, do yoga, run, play sports, read books, listen to music, and play the guitar. I love teaching and helping students to feel more comfortable and confident speaking English in real-world conversations. I am also a language learner. I have lived abroad in Spain and France and I know how difficult and scary it can be to practice speaking in a new language. I know how important it is to find a teacher with whom you feel very comfortable and safe so that you can practice speaking, ask questions, and take risks. This is the best way to take your skills to the next level! It is my goal to be that teacher for you! My teaching style is relational, I am invested in my students and I am so excited to see you gaining confidence in your speaking ability! My adult lessons are conversation-based and thematic.
