I have been teaching on Italki for akmost 4 years. My degree is in English. The majority of my career has been either Teaching English or caring for elderly people/ disabled people. I know how challenging learning a new language is because at the moment I am B2 in Spanish , and it is so hard to not make mistakes! I enjoy hiking with my friends, having Tapas, dancing and travel. Interested in social justice and engage in activism for fair health care. I love meeting students from across the world and am knowledgeable regarding politics, current affairs and many interesting topics. I am an excellent listener. I’ve taught English in Peru, Argentina, and Spain, and run Creative Writing workshops in the UK, helping everyone from older learners to those with learning disabilities tell their stories. Patient, intuitive, and empathetic, I quickly understand what my students need and create a calm, engaging space where confidence grows. My classes blend clear communication, variety, and plenty of encouragement.
