My name is Niki and I was born and raised in England by Italian parents. I live in Italy where I have been working as a Tefl teacher for over 15 years. I love traveling and meeting people from all over the world. So far I have been to a few places including Germany, India and Senegal. I have also worked as a Study Trip Leader in Malta. Another passion I have is learning languages and am now interested in learning Portuguese and Spanish here on Italki. In my free time I love going for walks on the beach and just listen to the sound of the waves. That's how I charge my batteries! I am a native English teacher and have been working in a Bilingual Primary and Secondary School in Italy for seven years and love my job. I am Tefl certified and also teach for a Language School where I teach adults too. I have a communicative approach and truly believe that the best way to learn a language is by listening and talking to a native speaker as often as possible. I had to learn Italian when I left England and found that regular conversation is the key. My lessons are informal andI I teach using a communicative approach .
