My name is Samuel and I am from Cameroon in Central Africa.
I consider myself a friendly, outgoing and adventurous person, who remains constantly amazed by the diversity of the world. I enjoy travelling to new places around my country and meeting new people. Aside from that my other hobbies are sports, music and watching movies.
I hope to get the chance to travel to foreign countries in the future and learn about new cultures, so I consider this platform as a means to do that from the comfort of my home. Becoming a teacher of something I love, then just seems as a natural continuity of things !Me as a Teacher
I believe I am a fun, passionate and adaptative teacher. To me the key of every lesson is making every student feel comfortable, create a connection and motivate him or her to reach the objectives that were set, or even higher ! I also truly believe patience and understanding are key to improve one's proficiency, and out of everything, listening is the golden tool! I know all the challenges it takes to learn or improve in a specific language so I believe the right attitude, patience, determination and passion are the best secrets to achieve it! My lessons are entirely personalized to every single student according to the goals and proficiency the student has or is seeking. Whether beginner, intermediate or advanced, the lessons will be structured according to each specific need and interest. I believe oral communication through audiovisual content and interacting about different topics are the key to acquire a natural feeling for the language and remove this dreaded fear of making mistakes !My teaching material

This was my first lesson with Samuel and we spent the hour chatting and gauging where I'm at with my French studies. Afterwards he provided me with a plan as to how we will move forward as well as a resource to use between our lessons. He was very kind and helpful, and I'm looking forward to our next lesson!
