Certified French, German, Czech and Russian teacher with 25 years of experience My name is Irina and I am a free-lance teacher from Switzerland. My family is of Czech and Russian origine, but I grew up in the French speaking Geneva region, studied in Bern and Prague and finally graduated from Lausanne university. I currently live and teach in Prague, Czech Republic. I love languages and I apart from those I teach I also speak Finnish, Portuguese, Arabic and a bit of Chinese. I also love nature, hiking, arts and classical music, and I play harpsichord. I majored in French and Slavic linguistics (Russian and Czech) but I also have a C2 degree of the Goethe-Institute in German. I have taught French, German, Russian and Czech for about 25 years and I can offer you a big variety of teaching methods and materials. As I am a passionate language learner as well, I know how difficult it is to learn a foreign language. I am a very patient teacher: I adapt my teaching methods, speed and style to your preferences, interests and needs. use to teach internationally, so I have a very flexible timetable, teaching early in the morning, late at night as well as on weekends, holidays and during Christmas, Easter and Summer leaves. I organize my classes so that you get an opportunity to train all the basic skills : I'll send you all the material (PDFs, audios etc.) so that you'll be able to listen to the spoken language, speak, read and write.
