I've been a Japanese tutor since 2010 and have been teaching private lessons both in person as well as online.
Having qualifications in teaching Japanese, I'm able to teach various levels; at the moment I have experience teaching beginner courses, primary school level and can teach all the way up to the JLPT N1 level.My lessons & teaching style

The style I use to teach Japanese is the "Direct Method" where I will try to communicate and explain everything in Japanese. I use this method as I believe it is the most effective way of learning languages. If students have a difficult time understanding the Japanese being taught, I will assist by using English to help so do not worry!!

Haruka created a comfortable environment without feeling rushed or pressured and corrected me at the right moments. She provided alternative word choices and expressions. The context she provided behind words and phrases was also invaluable.

Very nice trial lesson. It was in complete Japanese (preferred) and she helped me on some sentence conjugations and gauging my language ability. The atmosphere was enjoyable and she wasn't afraid to take the lead if I couldn't continue on a topic. She also answered my questions thoroughly and gave a lot of examples. I can tell that she enjoys the interaction of a good conversation.
