Profesora certificada de Español y de Inglés (CELTA) Hi there, I’m Rosa, a former tourism and hospitality professional, who has turned her hobby into a job. Languages have always played a big role in my life, I’m bilingual from birth and I’ve been learning foreign languages since I was a kid. This global pandemic has opened a new door for me and allowed me to be a teacher once again. This time in an official way though, as a professional Spanish and English teacher as a second language. As a former touristologist, I love travelling and meeting people from other countries, I live a healthy lifestyle following the philosophy “mens sana in corpore sano” and I’m passionate about nature, in my free time I love going for a hike. Teaching a language goes beyond it, in my opinion, a teacher should be able to provide not only grammar, vocabulary, etc. but also the culture and the way of thinking of the country. By doing that, the student is much more interested in learning and the whole process gets a lot easier. If you ask me about my teaching skills, I consider myself a patient teacher, a good listener, a creative and resourceful professional, who can adapt to the needs of the student. My goal is to ensure that my students learn while having a good time during the lesson. My language offer consists of general learning, conversation practise, specialized learning (mainly tourism and hospitality) and exam preparation.
