Hello! My name is Marta, I'm portuguese and I am passionate about people and communications. I have worked in areas such as journalism, voluntering and tourism, and I love a good meal, a good wine or craft beer and a good talk! Writing, hiking, listening to music and going to concerts are among my favorite activities. I am happy to learn, to teach, and to exchange!

I’m a calm, curious, heart warming and available person and teacher. And I am familiar with the students' most common challenges. That is why, I am here to help you not only learn the language, but also understand the spoken Portuguese and express yourself, with confidence!

My lessons & teaching style

Our classes are a safe place, where communication is encouraged, with humor! Tell me about your goals and interests! From there, we'll build a learning path based on conversation and different tools. We can use exercises, audios, videos, texts, stories and music, for instance. I am always looking for and creating new materials! So, shall we talk?
