About Me

Hello, I'm Artyom and I'm Russian. I've been teaching on Italki for 5 years. I am here to help you to understand better the Russian language and culture. My main hobbies are traveling, learning foreign languages (I speak English, Spanish and Portuguese, which can also make our interaction easier) and reading books. I can describe myself as a very funny and friendly person, so, it will be very easy for you to get on with me. I was graduated from the North-Caucasus Federal University with excellence in 2017. My degree is "translation and translation studies". In 2016 I was also granted a certificate in TESOL. After studying I continue loving foreign languages and hope to learn many new ones.
Me as a Teacher
I started to be a tutor of English in 2017 and even today I continue doing that with success. Every time in my country and in the Internet I see more and more people who want to learn Russian for tourism, to understand our literature or just for speaking with people from Russia. Moreover, I have always had a strong desire to share my language knowledge with other people. This is the main reason why I decided to study in the TESOL program and then to give lessons of Russian on Italki. I also find teaching as a great method of cultural exchange.My lessons & teaching style
I'm a very flexible person. So, together we can work out a plan which will be appropriate for you. If you want to study grammar, I will organize grammar lessons with exercises for you. If you are looking for conversational lessons, I will prepare topics in accordance with your preferences with an actual vocabulary. At my lessons I use such materials as, for example, articles, PDF, videos, audios and texts. We can also have a normal natural conversation if you have this desire. If you are a speaker of English, Spanish and Portuguese, I can explain the information you do not understand in one of these languages.My teaching material

I would very much recommend Artyom as a Russian teacher, his lessons are engaging and interactive and he is patient with beginners. He explains everything very clearly and is able to tailor lessons to what you are interested in learning. I am a beginner and he has made me feel a lot more confident in speaking Russian!

I started lessons after taking a liking towards the Russian language after a few weeks on Duolingo. I now can speak Russian, not good, but also not zero. Every week with Artyom I speak and listen better. A+++++ teacher
