I'm a qualified and professional teacher of English, Italian and Japanese with over 25 years of teaching experience. I have completed university teaching qualifications, the CELTA certificate and adult teaching qualifications. I have taught thousands of students English and Japanese with great success. I teach students from the age of 7 years old to adults of any age. I teach students of English from an Intermediate to Advanced level only. I help with General English, Business English, IELTS and Speaking. I specialise in helping Beginner students learn Japanese, including those of an English or Italian speaking background. I can help you with conversational Japanese and basic grammar.

I tailor lessons to be at a pace and style that is appropriate for each individual, addressing their needs and wishes. My lessons provide you all the information that you need to become confident and more proficient in the language. Learn with a highly experienced teacher who knows how to help you to achieve to your potential in the language in the most effective and efficient way.

My lessons & teaching style

I am highly experienced in teaching languages and will adapt my lessons and teaching style to the needs and wishes of the student. You will get a lot out of my lessons and homework is optional! I'm a friendly and patient teacher. English students from an Intermediate to Proficient level are welcome. I offer Italian lessons to BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE students. I offer lessons to BEGINNER students or those with a basic knowledge of Japanese only. My lessons are offered to children aged 7 to adults of all ages. The focus of the lessons is on communicating naturally in the target language, with an emphasis on speaking, grammar and correct pronunciation.
