So so nice to meet Ms. Caron! I feel like that time really can fly when having fun lessons ^^ 專業+幽默+溫柔+親切=The best！

Ms Caron developed a bespoke Cantonese lesson series for me to help me express myself better and learn colloquial expressions and slang. I immigrated from Hong Kong as a child so I’m not quite beginner. We were able to skip the basics and go right into improving conversational skills, replacing my Chinglish with natural sounding Cantonese. She fosters an encouraging and positive environment where I can be comfortable making mistakes. I’ve definitely improved over the course of 5 lessons.

After a few lessons with 黃老師，I can really appreciate her help with my unique situation of achieving oral fluency. Despite already knowing how to read and understand Cantonese, my speaking is choppy and problematic when trying to explain things beyond the nutshell. She has the uncanny ability to pick up on the little things and always quick to offer ways to correct my speech. I hope to get closer to my goal with her support! Thank you :)

Worthwhile use of our time. Making progress.

The class was fast paced which I enjoyed and learned a lot from-we packed a lot into the trial lesson. I sent Ms. Caron a message with my goals so we used the class to go over lots of new vocabulary to me that I wanted to know in order to express myself and describe my professional work. She gave me suggestions for how to study since I am a a native Cantonese speaker but lack fluency and shared other resources to study vocabulary. She described some grammatical differences between English and Cantonese that helped provide context for how to structure my studying.
