Another great lesson! Suleiman, and myself practiced Kiswahili by having a nice conversation. If you're thinking about learning Swahili, Suleiman is your teacher! It's ok to make mistakes! I had many, and he pointed them out, so I could learn from them. After that, we would continue on. At the end of the class, Suleiman gave me a positive re-enforcer by his kind words of encouragement. I will continue to learn Swahili...no turning back! I'm so grateful to have Italki, and Suleiman as my teacher.

We continued to study the irregular Swahili verbs, this class we discussed the usage of the verb Kuwa ko. We also talked about a lot of cultural matters regarding Swahili and Tanzania. It was very interesting, since one of the best things about learning a new language is delving into the culture to which it belongs. Asante sana Sule, tutaonana baadaye!

I've taken numerous classes with Suleiman, and the progress has been impressive. He's incredibly patient and provides excellent practice guides after each session. It's not just about learning the language with him; he also imparts cultural insights, which I believe are crucial, especially if you're planning to travel to Tanzania.
