Hello! My name is Miriam and I can help you to learn a language from scratch or improve the skills you already have. I am quite easy going, so you will likely feel at ease with me and be able to relax and focus in the language. I just came back to iTalki, after a time away I spent doing a PhD. Before that, though, I worked here for several years as a Spanish, English and Catalonian teacher, and during that time I had hundreds of students from all over the world. Teaching them was a cool and enriching experience, and I made many good friends in the process, so here I am again. Some things about my teaching style: - I adapt well to each student, so even if I have a method I normally use, if the students says they don't want it, we can come with an alternative. That's why during the first lesson I will ask you about your preferences, but if you don't have any, then I will suggest a method for you. - I have a lot of patience and I don't mind repeating explanations or lessons as many times as the student needs. - My lessons are targeted for teens older than 15 years old, and adults.

Miriam is a great teacher - very friendly, easy to talk with and organised. Her Spanish is easy to understand and the best is she keeps notes of the mistakes made during the conversation so they can be revised at the end of the class.
