7 years of English teaching experience across a number of fields Hello~ My name is Skye! I am from Cape Town, South Africa. Welcome to my English lessons! I love to travel and learn languages. I have lived in China (青岛市), South Korea (대구+서울+부산), Taiwan (高雄市) and Japan (東京). I have learnt Mandarin Chinese and Korean and I am currently learning Italian and Japanese. I am studying my Master's in Film so I love watching and discussing movies. My hobbies are reading, writing, walking my dog, eating delicious food, drinking coffee, taking videos, listening to music and studying languages. I look forward to meeting you! I am TEFL certified (120 hours online + in-class) and I have 6 years of English teaching experience in South Korea, Taiwan, Japan and online. Most recently, I taught English at a university in Japan, and I have also worked with middle school and elementary school students. I have attended many language exchanges, held summer and winter camps and taught parents and teacher classes. Through this I learnt how to understand my students' needs and help them learn English in a fun and dynamic way! I would like to create a fun and friendly learning environment. I will help you improve your speaking skills in a natural way so that you can enjoy learning English with confidence. We can explore any of the topics you are interested in in a way that suits your learning style. I can provide you with corrections for speaking and writing.
