Native Arabic Speaker & Experienced English Teacher I am Hana from Algeria, I am a teacher of English, and an online tutor of Arabic, I love baking, listening to instrumental music, having long walks, and certainly teaching. I do love and enjoy teaching both kids and adults, I have been teaching at private and public schools, and at university for about four (8) years. I follow a communicative approach, and I always target the learner's individual needs, likes, and wants in order to reach the best teaching/learning experience possible. I am very patient and understanding, I support the learners to achieve more, My lessons are constructed based on the needs of the learners, but generally, I do work as a guide and a facilitator to my learner throughout implementing a communicative approach which is certainly learner-centered. However, before any class, I make sure that the learner feels comfortable and ready to learn. I strongly believe that how the learner feels during the class has a huge impact on the whole learning process.

Hana is a really great MSA teacher. She wants you to learn all of MSA, and doesn’t gloss over the things that might seem like details to a new learner. I learned Arabic originally back in 2005 (DLI 8 hours a day for a year and a half) and it’s never been more apparent how many things we should have focused on back then now that I’m reapproaching the language. My vocabulary was probably higher back in 2005 than it is just a few months into starting studying again, but my understanding of what is going on is a lot higher than old me already. The vocabulary will come back with time and exposure. I’m sure I’ll learn and forget and learn and forget some things because the language is so different from English but eventually they quit slipping and start sticking to your brain as dots connect.

C’était super, elle est très agréable elle prend le temps d’écouter de discuter. Elle est très souriante aussi et elle donne envie de reprendre une leçon avec elle. Elle a été aussi ponctuelle et elle a bien respecté le temps car au départ sur italki nous n’arrivions pas à nous entendre donc c’était une très belle leçon à reconduire. Merci beaucoup
