About Me

Hi everyone! I am an American currently working as a professor in a Middle East university. I have about ten years of experience as an IELTS examiner (although I haven't examined since last year), so that is probably my specialty. If you are preparing for the exam, I am sure I can help! P.S. I will be on vacation from July 4th to August 20th.

Me as a Teacher

I have a Master of Education in Teaching English. I have more than eleven years of experience as a teacher. Before the pandemic, I was the director of a language school in Russia. Now I am working at a university in the Middle East.

My lessons & teaching style

My approach to teaching is student-centered. In our first class, I find my student's goals, and then we come up with a strategy to reach them. I encourage students to be active learners; it's great when they come to class with a lot of questions about the language. I am always happy to answer them!
