My name is Aleksandra. I'm 28 years old. I live in the south part of Russia next to the Black sea in the town called Gelendzhik. My hobbies are travelling (for now I have been in 28 countries), reading a different style of books (especially I'm fond of the classical russian literature), studying languages (I'm in the process of studying spanish and chineese), baking something :) and stydying something new about the changing in different areas of our modern life.Me as a Teacher
As a teacher I find important the conversational part of the lessons since sometimes it's the only time when the person can practice the language and not being afraid of doing mistakes. Also for me it's interesting to include in the lessons some cultural things, the explanations of the word's forms, some russian gestures and so on. My duty is also to organize your constant passive studying out of the class)) My lessons & teaching style
During the class we mostly practice speaking, reading and listening skills, work on the grammar part in the context of life situations. In some time we include the reading of some simplified texts and watching videos according to the student interests (optionally) for the expanding vocabulary and memorizing the "stable" phrases. All the job related to writing skills is done by the student at home and checked and corrected by me apart from the class time.My teaching material

I have had 10 lessons with Aleksandra in preparation for a trip to Kazakhstan. Her lessons are always interesting and exposed me to lots of new vocabulary with different resources that she brings to each lesson. She is very patient and helpful when I make mistakes. I also appreciate that the lessons are always fully in Russian with English used only for words or phrases that I don't understand from the Russian explanation. Overall, I highly recommend Aleksandra for anyone interested in improving their Russian skills. I am super excited to use my Russian in Kazakhstan on a trip that is very important to me where I will be with people who only speak Russian. I hope to continue working with Aleksandra upon my return.
