Experienced Multilingual Catalan Tutor: Unlock Your Language Potential with Confidence Hi! I’m a native Catalan and Spanish speaker from the coast near Barcelona, with a background in Psychology and years of experience learning and teaching languages. I also teach English at a private language academy. When I started learning Italian in my early 20s, it changed the way I understood language learning. Since then, languages have been a major part of my life through study, exchange, volunteering and teaching. My lessons adapt to your level, interests and goals: - If you’re looking for conversation, we can focus on speaking naturally, building confidence and discussing topics that genuinely interest you, without stopping every few seconds to correct every mistake. - If you’re a beginner, we can work in a more structured way, with clear explanations, guided practice and selected materials. I also have experience helping students prepare for official exams. I love drawing connections between Catalan and languages you already know. I’ve also worked for several years in international B2B sales and account management, so I can adapt lessons to professional contexts. I enjoy conversations about many things, we’ll rarely run short of things to talk about. I’m patient, reliable and genuinely curious about people and the world around us (culture, languages, current affairs, history, sports, food, travel, etc) Whether you want to improve your conversation, gain confidence, prepare for an exam or use Catalan more naturally, I’ll adapt the lessons to you.

Having a class with Bernat is not like going to a classroom and having a well-prepared lesson; it is instead like being invited into someone's home to enjoy a lovingly-prepared meal. Bernat doesn't just teach Catalan, he SHARES the language and culture with you. And just like any lovingly-prepared meal, you will fill full and satisfied at the end. Thank you, Bernat!

I've had several lessons with Bernat now and they are invaluable. I don't have too much time to dedicate to Catalan as of now but our conversations are more than enough to help me improve and we never run out of topics to go through. Highly recommend
