PhD Language Coach | Master Your Pronunciation & Communication with a Science-Backed System. 24/7. Bonjour! I’m Dr. Ilias Brahim, a French professor and PhD researcher specializing in sociolinguistics, didactics, and phonetics. I teach learners from all backgrounds — professionals, exam candidates, and curious minds — how to speak French with clarity, confidence, and authenticity. I bridge cultures to make French learning intuitive and natural. My approach blends academic expertise with modern technology — including a personal learning management system, daily newsletters, and interactive phonetic software — giving every student a university-level experience adapted to their personal goals. I’ll be your partner on a structured and rewarding journey toward mastery. I bring years of experience from public education, research, and private coaching. My mission is simple: to help every student achieve measurable, lasting progress. I work 24/7 behind the scenes to deliver a seamless experience — class recaps, personalized homework, progress tracking, and resources tailored to your exact needs. My classroom is a space of precision, motivation, and care, where science meets passion. Students describe my lessons as dynamic, human, and deeply effective — because I combine linguistic science with creativity, humor, and real-world context. Every class is part of a personalized learning system, not just a one-time session. • Smart Goal Setting: Together we define clear, measurable objectives based on your needs (TEF, DELF/DALF, pronunciation, conversation fluency, etc.). • Phonetic Pr...

WOW! Now I understand the difference between a real teacher and a tutor. Ilias is the real deal! Exceptional. Yes, kind, good-natured, generous, but most importantly he KNOWS how to teach. I've had more than a dozen teachers on Italki and he is the best by far.

A really enjoyable lesson, with excellent feedback sent to me afterwards, and concrete steps to work on.

Ilias is an excellent teacher with a very good grasp of both English and French. I enjoy my lessons with him very much as they are entertaining and educative, he's also very patient and I can see how he works individually, tailoring the lessons according to the student's needs. We had a lively conversation about languages and technology. He was easy to understand and I had fun talking to him about the process of learning. I'm looking forward to the next session!
