Mi chiamo Roberto e sono un insegnante di italiano come lingua seconda da più di 10 anni. Lavoro in una scuola di lingua italiana a Milano e online. Ho studiato didattica e linguistica a Milano e a Siena. Parlo inglese e spagnolo.
My name is Roberto and I have been a teacher of Italian as a second language for more than 10 years. I work in an Italian language school in Milan and I work online as well. I studied didactics and linguistics in Milan and Siena. I speak English and Spanish.Me as a Teacher
Sono un insegnante appassionato e sempre alla ricerca di materiali stimolanti per gli studenti. Mi piace utilizzare video e audio nelle mie lezioni, oltre a tante letture e a tantissima conversazione sulla cultura italiana.
I am a passionate teacher and always looking for stimulating materials for students. I like to use video and audio in my lessons, as well as a lot of reading and conversation about Italian culture.My lessons & teaching style
Il mio metodo è di tipo comunicativo. La grammatica viene studiata in modo naturale e dinamico attraverso la comunicazione. Alterno la pratica nelle abilità di ascolto, lettura, scrittura e produzione orale in modo creativo, con l'uso di video, audio e testi originali. Generalmente utilizzo Zoom per le mie lezioni.
My method is communicative. Grammar is studied in a natural and dynamic way through communication. I alternate practice in listening, reading, writing and speaking skills in a creative way, using video, audio and original texts. I generally use Zoom for my classes.My teaching material

I started learning Italian with Roberto back in September 2021 as a complete beginner. Between then and June 2022 I had 90 lessons, at which point I sat the CELI and PLIDA B1 level exams (the level required for citizenship). I felt well prepared for the exams and passed both with really great marks.
Roberto is a truly excellent tutor which is reflected in the number of lessons I required to reach B1 level (and I'm certainly not a natural linguist). Another key indicator of the quality of the lessons he provides is the ratio of students to lessons- I've yet to see another tutor with an average of over 20 lessons per student (i.e, students keep going back!).
I'd have no hesitation recommending Roberto to anyone wanting to learn Italian!

I am very, very happy with my progress with Roberto. I feel more and more comfortable sustaining a long conversation in Italian. His teaching method is excellent, the right mix of free-form conversation and grammar. Highly recommend him !

Roberto is a highly qualified teacher - the best language teacher I have had thus far. Unlike many others offering lessons, he is truly qualified to teach Italian and clearly very experienced in doing so. Roberto uses advanced didactics to ensure the most efficient use of a student's time. Thanks to him I have made fast progress in Italian.
