Linguist|Certified Language Teacher| IELTS/TOEFL coach | Linguistics Degree I am a professional linguist who owns a language academy in Florida, and my passions include history, healthy living, language & linguistics, kayaking & rafting, reading (mostly fantasy and sci-fi), and going to the cinema! I aim to make learning a new language fun, approachable, and attainable for anyone who seeks to utilize my experience as a tutor. In addition, I have obtained my TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certification, as well as certification as an IELTS Exam Preparation Coach through an officially accredited institution. I have had success over the past many years teaching English as a second language, as well as teaching Spanish. As a student of Linguistics, I have extensive knowledge of grammar and vocabulary, and how to teach them! My concentration in Linguistics is Phonetics and Phonology, so if a good accent and pronunciation is something you are interested in then I am qualified to help!
