Hello, I'm Tom! I'm a native English speaker from Royal Leamington Spa, England, and I love reading books and writing short stories. I have taught various things - from basic maths and science to corporate project management - both formally and informally, but here I look forward to a more one-on-one teaching environment outside of the school and office.
I am a confident English user, with insight into speaking and writing good conversational and business English. I also have a degree in German (and a little Arabic) and hope to help with basic conversational German for anyone who would like to become a little more comfortable with speaking and writing basic German.My lessons & teaching style
My first lessons with you will be for us to establish together your confidence and comfort with your target language. There will be no pressure on you to perform at first but we will establish a plan and timeline for your learning that helps you to track your progress. During the following lessons, we will begin to focus on areas to explore in detail - key grammar points, vocabulary for social, formal, and business situations, and advanced grammar. Eventually, we can get you to a level at which you can continually improve on your own.My teaching material
