Hi there! I’m Mark from the UK.
I hold a Master’s in Teaching English (M.A. TESOL), a CELTA qualification, and have over 7 years of experience teaching in universities, businesses, and language schools. I specialize in Academic English and General English lessons.
About me:
I’m passionate about language learning and always exploring the most effective ways to study. I speak advanced Japanese and basic Spanish. I also love traveling—I've visited over 50 countries to experience different cultures and languages. Outside of teaching, I enjoy music, keeping active, staying informed on current affairs, and watching great TV shows.
I have 7 years of experience teaching both General and Academic English at universities, language schools, and online. At my current university, I specialize in Academic English, focusing on skills such as academic writing and giving presentations.

English TeacherAfter a year of teaching with J PREP Kids, I moved onto the Juku program teaching predominantly junior high school students. The classes are taught using real-life contexts and therefore it is my role to ensure that speaking time is maximized whilst expanding the vocabulary and grammar of the students. Through this teaching method, I have learned to adapt learning materials to provide engaging lessons and to ensure that the students meet their learning goals.
