Hello there! I’m Mariana from Mexico. I have a translation and interpretation degree, so I’m passionate about languages, traveling and human connection. I lived in Germany for almost 2 years and in that short amount of time I got to learn the language. I’m ready to teach you through personalized lessons. ¡Mucho gusto! Me llamo Mariana y soy mexicana. Mis 3 grandes pasiones son los idiomas, los viajes y las conexiones que puedes lograr gracias a ambos. Viví casi 2 años en Alemania y desde mi experiencia puedo guiarte de una forma personalizada. Aus meiner persönlichen Erfahrung kann ich dich effektiv beim Lernen unterstützen. Ich freue mich schon darauf! I know all the obstacles that you can find when learning a new language and how hard it can be, so I will provide you a judgment-free and friendly atmosphere to help you feel confident and improve your speaking skills. I will help you achieve your goals through a professional but also pretty relaxed method. If you have any specific requests or want to prepare for an exam, I am also ready to help you. I like to make the learning process stress free and fun, so depending on your level and goals we can either have a relaxed conversation about diverse subjects, solve some exercises together or learn grammar. I'm flexible about the way I teach in order to make you feel comfortable depending on your preferences or your favorite topics; my lessons will always be focused on your own goals and needs. I just completed my first lesson with Mariana and it was great! I entered feeling a bit nervous about my German level but I left knowing what to focus on. She was patient, asked me questions about my goals and tested my German. I’m looking forward to the next lesson.

I think I’m on my 6 or 7 lesson by now and it has been a pleasure. Professional but casual. Encourages you to speak at your level while pushing you to learn more. I think this has been the most Spanish I have spoken and most comfortable.

Mariana is wonderful! I’ve had 3 lessons with her now, and she is allowing me to make my mistakes without judgement and giving me gentle correction. I recommend her to anyone who wants to learn Spanish! And bonus: she also speaks French and German.
