Hello, I am Kenji.
As a diving instructor, I have been diving in oceans all over the world since I was 18 years old. Australia, New Caledonia, Malaysia, Vanuatu, New Zealand, Patagonia, etc.
Then, at the age of 27, I opened a diving shop in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, and set up branches in Loreto and Cancun.
Later, I opened a diving shop in Japan, sold all my businesses at the age of 45, and am now basically retired.
After retiring at the age of 45, my daily work is investing in stocks, bonds, mutual funds, and currencies, which I have been doing continuously since I was young.Me as a Teacher

After completing the Japanese teacher training course when I was 47, I started teaching Japanese in Latin America, mainly in Mexico and Colombia.
Due to the pandemic, all schools were closed, so I started teaching online. My experience teaching online began in 2020.
My personal areas of expertise: economics, politics, management, taxation, marine mammals, travel, scuba diving, surfing, Latin America, music, and musical instruments.My lessons & teaching style
Unfortunately, I do not offer beginner (A1) classes. I also do not accept students under 18 years old. Thank you for your understanding.
🌸 In my classes, I use the direct method, which is a method of teaching Japanese using only Japanese.
🔰 For beginner (A1) : Improve your Japanese to the pre-intermediate level (A2-B1) through greetings, self-introductions, basic daily conversations, and daily and weekly routines using commonly used verbs.
🀄 For pre-intermediate (A2-B1) : Improve your Japanese fluency, pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar through conversations about your favorite topics.My teaching material

Fue la primera vez que use aplicación para practicar conversación en japonés y me gustó mucho porque te obligas a hablar y hacerte entender aunque sea buscando en ese momento las frases correctas. El profesor Kenji te habla solo en japonés así que muy bien porque no quería las típicas clases de academia de inglés que te explican todo en español y al final no aprendes más que alguna frase y pasas años sin conversar de verdad

We had a fun introductory conversation. The topics included Hawaii, Diving, Natsumei Soseki, Meiji Jidai history.
Anyway it was a fun lesson for casual Japanese speech. I look forward to more lessons.

The class was amazing! I've never talked so much in Japanese my whole life! Kenji sensei motivated me to use all vocabulary I had and I was able to speak so much I was impressed!

Just had a great first lesson with Kenji-san! He was very easy to understand and we were able to touch on a lot of interesting topics despite my limited Japanese.
