German Speaking Tutor with 4 years of Teaching Experience on Italki Welcome! I am Ece and I am originally from Istanbul. I recently graduated from Boğaziçi University and did molecular biology and genetics. But currently, I am living in Vienna and doing my Master's degree at Vienna University. I have been learning English for about 14 years and I use it on daily basis. I can also speak German and teach Turkish and English using German. I enjoy learning new languages and traveling. I particularly enjoy playing ultimate frisbee and SCUBA diving. I have a special interest in sustainable practices and hope to work in that area. I've been teaching languages here on Italki for the past 4 years. I have had over 100 students, each with different goals and needs. I am experienced in creating personalized learning materials for my students and making sure it is a lasting habit for them to study their target language. Language learning should be fun. So rather than learning unnecessary amounts of grammar, I encourage everyone to immerse themselves with the language via songs, videos, news and books. I believe language learning is simply the best way to broaden your sight of the world. At first lessons, I will get to know the level and the interest of my students. I will recommend some free source they can use to learn English or Turkish.
