Hello! I’m Yukari. I’m a qualified Japanese teacher.
I grew up in Tokyo and Yokohama. I speak standard Japanese.
I started my professional life as an editor in a publishing company and wrote a book as a ghostwriter. Since I moved to France where I live now, I have worked in marketing. My interests in language, communication and interacting with other people from all over the world led me to become a teacher.
I have a curious mind. The fields that interest me include but are not limited to science, art and architecture. Outside of teaching, my life is filled with yoga practice, playing the piano and swimming. When I go on holiday, I like embracing nature by hiking, sea swimming or skiing.Me as a Teacher
Creativity and curiosity. I draw not only on my knowledge of Japanese as a teacher but also on the communication skills that I gained through my professional work to harness students' curiosity. I do my best to make my lessons engaging and set up a relaxed environment so that my students can speak freely.

My lessons are tailored to meet each student’s objectives, learning style and interests. I teach adults (aged 16 and over) of all levels.
I regret to inform you that I am currently unable to provide lessons for travel-related purposes.
