I have been teaching Japanese for about 7 years. First, I taught Japanese in Egypt at two universities and the Japanese Cultural Center(Japan Foundation Cairo office). Now I am teaching Japanese for students who want to proceed to the next level of education in Tokyo. Registered Japanese Language Teacher - MEXT - 2025To become a Registered Japanese Language Teacher (National Certification) in Japan, one must complete an accredited training program and pass the national competency test. He was encouraging and provided useful feedback in English and Arabic, which are useful references for improving my Japanese. He was super helpful, giving great feedback in English and Arabic—really useful for better memorization of words. I immediately booked more classes after the trial.

Murakami Sensei is an excellent teacher - very patient, great to talk to, and puts in a lot of extra work outside of lessons as well. I am confident that, through his teaching, I was able to pass the JLPT N3 this year, and will continue working with him as I move toward the N2 level and eventual fluency

I’ve been learning Japanese with Murakami 先生 for more than a year now.
Apart from his great teaching style generally, he’s particularly good at explaining the nuances and minute differences in deceptively similar vocabulary and grammar points — details which are often lost in translation and in classroom settings.
He’s also been great in helping me prepare for the JLPT N2.
