Hi! My name is Takahiro. I’m from Saitama prefecture near Tokyo. Now I’m living in Japan and teaching Japanese at Japanese Language school in Tokyo. My hobby are reading books and sports(Kick Boxing and Basketball), drawing, etc… I’m looking forward to see you!Me as a Teacher
I have been teaching Japanese for about 7 years. First, I taught Japanese in Egypt at two universities and the Japanese Cultural Center(Japan Foundation Cairo office). Now I am teaching Japanese for students who want to proceed to the next level of education in Tokyo. However, because I want to teach the Japanese language to students from different countries, I decided to become a teacher at italki. My lessons & teaching style

Registered Japanese Language Teacher - MEXT - 2025To become a Registered Japanese Language Teacher (National Certification) in Japan, one must complete an accredited training program and pass the national competency test. This certification is mainly required to teach Japanese in public institutions in Japan. While not mandatory for teaching abroad, it officially proves teaching ability and can enhance credibility and job opportunities internationally.

I had a fantastic trial lesson with Murakami-san. From the beginning, he created a friendly and comfortable atmosphere. He was encouraging and provided useful feedback in English and Arabic, which are useful references for improving my Japanese. He was super helpful, giving great feedback in English and Arabic—really useful for better memorization of words. I immediately booked more classes after the trial.

Murakami Sensei is an excellent teacher - very patient, great to talk to, and puts in a lot of extra work outside of lessons as well. I am confident that, through his teaching, I was able to pass the JLPT N3 this year, and will continue working with him as I move toward the N2 level and eventual fluency

Today was my second meeting and we did some practice quizzes with kanji pronunciations and meanings, multiple choice and fill in the blank. He would ask me the answers and let me think it through, explaining things as I needed it. When I was wrong it was no big deal as he is encouraging and says it’s okay. We were talking about how little by little my Japanese will improve and I am very motivated to continue practicing with Murakami sensei and to use Japanese daily!
