Greetings! I am a pre-medical student with a deep passion for language studies. Born and raised in Mauritius, I am a native speaker of Creole Mauritian and fluent in four languages: English, French, Creole Mauritian, and Hindi. With 18 years of formal education in English and French, I have developed a strong foundation in these languages. My enthusiasm for discovering new languages and cultures has been fueled by my love for travel and global interactions. Engaging with individuals from diverse backgrounds has significantly broadened my worldview. For more insights, feel free to explore my blog posts via the link below.

Me as a Teacher
I am a very patient and calm person. I carry out my work diligently. I want to help my students overcome their language barrier and be able to fully experience the culture of a foreign country by learning its native language. Learning languages is the best way to live an extraordinary experience since communication is key. Learners can study vocabulary words very hard but somehow most people struggle to pronounce the words. I will make my best to make sure that my students are pronouncing the words correctly. Language exchange can be so fun even in a virtual classroom!
My lessons & teaching style
My lessons will be short and fun. Lessons will include general, daily conversational topics. If the person is a complete beginner, I will start by teaching syllables, verbs, tenses and vocabulary words. I will also take short and quick tests to examine the learner and see whether there has been any progress so far. I will carefully listen to what they have to say, note down their mistakes and then correct them at the end of each lesson. I like using notebooks and sometimes a whiteboard to explain so that the student does not get confused. I will also be using some resources such as books, storybooks, grammar, verb tenses books as well as dictionaries for references, and even blog articles!

Very good lesson again for Mauritian Creole. Well prepared, talked about daily life situations, today it was about daily routine, get up in the morning, prepare the day, go to school, etc etc. Very useful lesson and well prepared. I can recommend this teacher for sure.
