Hi, I’m Jo Katsani, a passionate native German teacher with over 17 years of experience. I was born in Germany and raised in Greece, so I speak both German and Greek as native languages and I’m fluent in English. I hold a degree in German Philology and Literature and have taught in public and private schools, as well as in private lessons, both online and in person. I’ve also volunteered as a teacher in Indonesia and I’m a certified examiner for Greece’s state language exams.
I teach students of all ages and levels, from beginners to advanced. Whether you’re learning German for school, work, travel, or certification exams, I’m here to support you with structure, clarity, and confidence.
As a teacher, I truly love what I do. My goal is for you to enjoy both the learning process and the language itself. I create a safe, supportive space where you can feel comfortable, make mistakes without fear, and grow from them. At the end of this beautiful trip I felt so blessed and that these children taught me more than I could ever teach them.
