My name is Trinwattana Poochanon or you can call me Doe, and I'm a native Thai speaker from Thailand. I graduated from Khon Kaen University with an English degree. Before working as a freelance translator, I worked as a research assistant and field coordinator for an education project before, so I'm familiar with preparing teaching materials and teaching techniques. I'm passionate about sharing the beautiful Thai language and culture with students around the world. What I love most about teaching Thai is seeing that 'aha!' moment when students finally master a tricky tone or understand a cultural nuance. Doe teaches me the basic Thai the way Thai learns as a kid, which makes it more intuitive for me to grab the basic words and concepts (from reading, writing and speaking). He also understands and uses a lot of cultural context to teach not only the nuances of the expressions but also a brief introduction of the Thai culture, which are really precious for me as a foreigner living in Thailand.
