About Me

Hi everyone! My name is Roman and I would be happy to practice Ukrainian with you. I was born in the central part of Ukraine, so Ukrainian and Russian are both my native ones. I have more than 5 years of experience teaching Russian and Ukrainian to students of different levels. I graduated from Cherkasy state university as a psychologist. Since then I’ve been working mostly in IT companies as a sales, project and HR/recruiting manager, using English in my day to day work. See you in the first lesson. Bye!

Me as a Teacher

I am quite patient about helping people to start. We will repeat as many times as needed to get the ball rolling :) I will help to start from scratch and overcome the "silence barrier". We can learn necessary phrases for beginners who plan to live here and tourists, paying particular attention to the pronunciation. I choose a communicative method with different themes for discussion that helps learners to feel cosy during the lesson. I`m experienced in working with English-speaking students and teaching conversational Ukrainian from the beginning. We could speak in Ukrainian and discuss anything you would like

My lessons & teaching style

I help my students to speak Ukrainian with confidence. We are working to ensure that they do not feel stressed when they speak a foreign language. I usually devote a lot of time to speaking practice so my students are able to maintain a conversation on any topic. According to students’ wishes, we can study new words and talk about different things.
