I am Teacher Janet "Teacher JHA," a licensed educator from the Philippines with a Bachelor of Secondary Education, majoring in English. With over a decade of experience as a public school teacher in my hometown, I specialize in engaging with energetic and enthusiastic teenage learners, fostering trust and meaningful connections throughout their educational journey. Teaching is the toughest and the most challenging profession that I have known since you are dealing with learners with different behaviors, upbringings, and interests. So, I always see to it that I give my best and try to reach them out.
As a teacher, I am dedicated, preserve, and patient since teaching is my passion. I often simplified the lessons of my learners since each one of them is unique. Therefore, it is very important to know their strengths and weaknesses for fruitful and meaningful learning.
I also encourage my learners to voice out and share their ideas, and thoughts in order to be heard and develop their confidence and self-esteem since it is two way of learning process.My lessons & teaching style
As I plan my lessons ahead of time, I anticipate that my learners will enjoy, appreciate, and have a great time performing every task assigned. I give varied teaching activities based on their level of understanding like film viewing, PowerPoint presentations, reading out loud, free talk, and others.
I also ensure that my learners will learn a lot during our session and apply what they will adapt in real-life situations while having a great time learning.
Indeed, lessons provided to the learners are on spiral progression that they can easily understand the topics well. There are lots of things to consider in learning. It needs to plan carefully and engage themselves throughout the lesson.My teaching material

Great lesson with Janet! We learned a grammar point about using "kailangan". We made up many sentences using the new grammar. I asked Janet about using a verb, which Janet explained how to use the "pag" form and also how to use a natural form. It was fun coming up with the sentences and I learned a lot!

Great lesson with Janet! We reviewed the sentences I wrote using "kailangan". They were mostly right, and Janet helped me fix them. After that, we continued making example sentences using "kailangan" using object-focused verbs. Janet really helped me understand the reasons for different wording of the sentences, which is important for the differences in meaning!

Great lesson with Janet! We reviewed the sentences that I translated using the pseudo-verbs maaari, puwede and gusto. Janet helped me understand the difference in construction between pronouns and nouns. Janet also creates extra examples to help clarify. I have a much deeper understanding because of Janet's assistance and teaching methods!
