Janet is an excellent Filipino teacher. Different from other Filipinon teachers in that she speaks predominantly in Filipino and only some english if needed. I like this approach because it provides consistan comprehension practice on the part of the student. She is always positive and encouraging and I always look forward to attending her class.

Great lesson with Janet! We took a closer look at "ma" verbs and the many situations where we create a verb by adding ma to a root word. It got a little tricky, but Janet did a great job of explaining with different examples!
