I hold a Master's Degree in Computer Science and hold a Bachelor's degree in Turkish Language and Literature. During last 20 years of my professional career, I have been to more than 25 countries and had the opportunity to meet many new students from different cultures. I got more than 10 years of Turkish teaching experience in a multinational institution in Turkey and had the previlege of having many foreign students from all around the world. Besides my native language Turkish, which I speak accent-free in İstanbul, I am an Ankara University TÖMER certified Turkish teacher and a TESOL certified English educator. My English level is proficient (C2). My TOEFL writing score is 26 and my speaking score is 27 out of 30 so that I'll use the English language in a flexible way to answer your questions with all the details. I can also use German language during our lessons. I believe that the most important point in learning a foreign language is to have fun during the lessons. We will be talking a lot about any topic. With the help of supporting lesson material and lots of practices during our classes we can raise your Turkish speaking skills to your desired level together as soon as possible. I've had about 5 lessons with Mehmet so far. Mehmet is a highly experienced, qualified Turkish teacher. Moreover he speaks excellent English and teaches it too which means he has no problem explaining anything. I am not a complete beginner and needed someone who could help me progress from A2 which I've been stuck on for a while. I want to concentrate on conversational Turkish ( with some grammar support ). Mehmet is perfect. He has assessed my level and knows my strengths and weaknesses. He is always attentive, cheerful and prepared for lessons. I really look forward to our lessons and thoroughly enjoy them. I do feel if I'd found Mehmet earlier I wouldn't have got stuck. But later late than never as they say! I'm so looking forward to making progress with him in the beautiful language.
