Hi! I'm Jason, a NATIVE English teacher, from ENGLAND :) I have a TEFL certification (120 hours), which I completed at the University of Toronto. I have been teaching English in Bogotá, Colombia since January 2020 and I can teach all levels from beginner to advanced! I am currently studying Spanish here, at an intermediate level, so if you are a complete beginner and your native tongue is Spanish, then do not worry as I can communicate to you in Spanish if you are struggling :) My teaching style is very friendly and welcoming, I want you to feel relaxed and not to worry about making mistakes. I have found that one of the best ways to teach is via "Conversational English" in different scenarios. This is real-life English and perfect for improving your speech. We can also focus on grammar, vocabulary, listen to songs and decipher the lyrics, and I can set you homework which we can go through on following lessons. I hope I can teach you very soon :) Firstly we can assess what level you are at with your English, what themes you would like me to teach you and what problems you may be experiencing. From there, I can develop a teaching plan to guide you to reach the level of English that you require! I want to teach you English that you actually WANT to learn, in the manner with which you would like to learn it! I think one of the best ideas is to SPEAK conversational English on topics that you would like to talk about. This is a great way to improve, and I can correct your speech ...
