I'm Veronica, I'm 34 years old and I’m from the stunning Bologna, Italy.
I'm a cheerful and passionate Italian teacher to non-native Italian speakers!
Learning foreign languages is one of my biggest interests: I speak English, fluent French, little Spanish and I’m now learning Portuguese.
I love to travel around the world: throughout my 20s I lived in Paris, London, Milan, Lisbon and I was a volunteer in Africa.
Last but not least, I'm a foodie and a big contemporary art and independent cinema enthusiast!Me as a Teacher

I have been taking lessons with Veronica for a few months now and it has been the greatest time. The lessons have been fun, engaging, customized, and they are the highlight of my day. Veronica does an amazing job working with you and making you feel comfortable to work and make mistakes while correcting you along the way. Since it is a dream of mine to be fluent in Italian, I look forward to working with Veronica more on this dream. She is the most patient and kind teacher and I would recommend her to anyone. I've been taking classes with Veronica for ~2/3 months now and I'm loving every part of it. I look forward to her classes every week! We do a lot of talking during the classes, which was sooo challenging in the beginning but it's been super helpful for my learning! Veronica is enthusiastic, fun and a delight to have classes with. I love learning with her (not only about the Italian language but also about Italian culture) and sharing a bit of Brazilian culture as well. :)

From our very first lesson over a year and a half ago, I knew Veronica was a special teacher. I was nervous and quite uncomfortable speaking Italian, but her friendly and open demeanour put me immediately at ease. Her lessons are always fun and interesting, whether it's a speaking lesson or one focused on grammar. She comes equipped with thought-provoking news stories, short films, speaking activities, and entertaining games that make the time fly by - it never feels difficult or boring. I try to see Veronica twice per week, one "chatterbox" session and one "Italian made to measure", it's the perfect way to build conversational skills and also progress in the language. I am so grateful to have found Veronica on italki and I would definitely recommend her as a teacher!
