I am Miss K, a Korean-German individual who has been teaching foreign languages for over a decade in Germany, as well as in the United States and Canada. My academic background includes a major in German linguistics and a minor in Graphic Design. After discovering my passion for teaching languages, I relocated to the US to pursue a teaching degree. During my time in the US, I gained experience as a student teacher for French and Spanish in elementary schools, as well as working as a substitute teacher in K-8 settings.

They often say, "Do what you love, or love what you do." For me, teaching foreign languages is a passion that I would happily pursue even without any compensation. Being fluent in both Korean and German, I have developed effective methods to easily acquire additional languages, which I am eager to share with others.
When learning a foreign language, it is essential to delve into the associated culture and its people. Therefore, my lessons encompass a wide range of topics such as history, art, music, travel, and cuisine. Through these discussions, my students and I embark on a personal journey.My lessons & teaching style
I strongly believe in the power of enjoyable and interactive learning. In my teaching approach, I customize each lesson to meet the unique needs of every individual. I incorporate reading, speaking, listening, and writing activities to ensure a well-rounded language learning experience. To enhance understanding and engagement, I make use of diverse resources such as textbooks, videos, songs, and articles.

She’s knowledgeable about the world and the language. She’s able to explain the language overall very well and is able to correct mistakes effectively. She’s understanding and very effective at finding out to improve your abilities in a language, or in other words; she’s very good at teaching on the spot. With being understanding also makes her kind and eager to learn just as much as you are! I’d highly recommend :)

Learning from Miss K has been a lot of fun. She makes the lessons stress free and more of a conversation as opposed to hardcore classroom feel. Shes great at moving at a speed tailored for the quality of learning. Would recommend her to anyone and everyone!
