Slava is an amazing teacher and human being! He is dedicated, rigorous, motivating, flexible, and knowledgeable. I have been taking classes with Slava for a few months, 3 times per week. My level of Russian has considerably improved. The lessons are varied and always well prepared. That being said, he is also really flexible: we translated texts I suggested, and... he even helped me practice my marriage proposal that was in Russian! You can feel his passion for teaching Russian: he is supportive, always ready to adapt his teaching, and you can see that he is truly happy when his students improve their understanding of the language. Большое спасибо Слава! His English level is excellent, which makes it perfect for students like me who started with a beginner level. We can now have short conversations in Russian and it is always interesting since he is passionate about many subjects! I highly recommend Slava as a Russian teacher!

I have had many great lessons with Slava and my Russian is steadily improving. It is really great that we can talk about any topic and Slava is exceptionally knowledgeable in a great variety of topics from science like space exploration and biology to world politics. In the lessons we have been able to gradually increase the difficulty level and go into depth in technical topics. I think one of the greatest strength Slava has is the way he adopts the lessons to my needs and is open to adjust them to what I have in mind.

I have been taking lessons every day with Slava for 4 months. Every lesson is excellent! Slava prepares material for every lesson and he is always energetic and engaging. When I started taking lessons I didn't know any Russian at all. Now I can have a basic conversation with Slava. I don't have to make any plans or do anything outside of my daily lessons, Slava takes care of everything. Thank you Slava!
