Saki-chan Sensei

I would highly recommend Sensei Saki as an instructor. She knows how to properly explain English and Japanese grammar and always fixes my Japanese to help me sound more like a native speaker. The homework has been real helpful, and her method of teaching conjugations is so easy to understand. I was only planning to take speaking lessons only, but her homework was so much fun that I decided to learn how to write in hiragana and katakana and even read some kanji. I can see myself studying Japanese with her for many years.

さき先生 is amazing! She is super friendly and fun to talk to! Everything was in Japanese except when I didn’t understand a word or two which I really appreciated!! Her lessons are customized and she makes sure you understand everything before moving on. I look forward to more lessons!! ありがとうございます

I started taking lessons with Saki-chan several months ago, and she is fantastic. Starting lessons, I wanted to get ready for a trip to Japan and be able to say basic phrases and talk to people around Tokyo. Even though I had very little experience and a small amount of practice time each week, Saki-chan helped me make a plan to practice the skills I wanted, and taught them in a way that was easy to understand. When I went on my trip, I remembered a lot of what we had practiced. I was able to order at restaurants and buy things at stores, greet people, and have short conversations. I would definitely recommend Saki-chan as a teacher, especially if you are a beginner like me. She is always prepared and professional, and makes the learning process enjoyable.

Saki-chan has been my teacher for a bit over a year now, and she is fantastic! When I started, I only knew hiragana and a bit of vocabulary. She helped me prepare for a trip to Japan with helpful phrases and vocabulary, and I enjoyed the lessons so much that I've continued learning new concepts and grammar from her. Saki-chan is excellent at teaching new grammar points. I feel confident about how to make the sentences as well as when to use them correctly. She's also great at finding a pace that is challenging but achievable, so I'm excited for our lessons even on weeks when I haven't been able to study as much on my own. I would highly recommend Saki-chan for beginners like me. If you have a lot of drive to learn on your own, she'll match your pace and challenge you with new concepts. And she's patient to teach something slowly as needed.

I've been taking lessons with Saki-Chan for several months now, and she has helped me to be more confident with speaking and listening, as well as grammar and vocabulary. She brings a lesson plan that will help with new grammar points that I don't know, and always adjusts her pace based on how quickly I'm able to understand a topic. If something is easy, she reviews it quickly, and for harder topics she helps me have enough practice to understand it. We do some conversational practice each lesson, and she is so patient as I try to figure out how to say things, giving me enough time to think or helping me say things correctly if I get stuck. I would definitely recommend Saki-Chan as a teacher, especially if you are nervous about speaking practice, or if you know some vocabulary but need to learn more grammar.
