Saki-chan Sensei

I've been taking lessons with Saki-Chan for several months now, and she has helped me to be more confident with speaking and listening, as well as grammar and vocabulary. She brings a lesson plan that will help with new grammar points that I don't know, and always adjusts her pace based on how quickly I'm able to understand a topic. If something is easy, she reviews it quickly, and for harder topics she helps me have enough practice to understand it. We do some conversational practice each lesson, and she is so patient as I try to figure out how to say things, giving me enough time to think or helping me say things correctly if I get stuck. I would definitely recommend Saki-Chan as a teacher, especially if you are nervous about speaking practice, or if you know some vocabulary but need to learn more grammar.

さき先生 is amazing! She is super friendly and fun to talk to! Everything was in Japanese except when I didn’t understand a word or two which I really appreciated!! Her lessons are customized and she makes sure you understand everything before moving on. I look forward to more lessons!! ありがとうございます

Saki-san is an amazing teacher! She picks up very quickly on how you learn and modifies her teaching approach for you. I've just started with her but have already learned a lot of new grammar and vocabulary - loving it! Would highly recommend to others looking to take their Japanese to the next level :)

Saki-chan was so helpful. I knew some vocabulary words going into the lesson, but didn't have much speaking experience. She was very kind, and focused her teaching on the areas where I needed the most help. She also went at a pretty quick pace, moving on once I understood something rather than spending a lot of time drilling just one concept. This worked well for me, because I would rather drill vocabulary words and sentences on my own, and then practicing using them and learning new things in the lesson. I would definitely recommend Saki-chan for a beginner like me; I left the lesson knowing what to practice and feeling very encouraged.
