🏆 5+ Years of teaching Experience | Custom Korean Lessons That Work • 6+ years of teaching experience • Official Korean language teaching certification • Top 1.62% Korean proficiency, certified by KBS Hi there! I’m a native Korean speaker born and raised in Seoul. I have 6+ years of teaching experience with Korean teenagers, adults, and international learners. I’m a certified Korean language teacher and continue to develop my teaching skills through professional study. As a language learner myself, I understand the challenges of learning a new language. I started learning English in 2020 and improved my IELTS Speaking score from 5.5 to 7.5 (B1 → C1). My lessons focus on helping you speak Korean naturally while building a strong foundation in grammar and vocabulary. I combine structured materials with personalized lessons based on your goals, interests, and pace. I use Korean textbooks and custom-made PPT materials. Before your first lesson, I’ll ask a few simple questions to understand your goals and preferences. Each lesson includes grammar, vocabulary, and conversation practice. I also teach face-to-face at a private academy, where most of my students are American soldiers and their families. This has given me experience teaching learners from different cultural and language backgrounds. Whether you’re a complete beginner, preparing for TOPIK, or looking to speak Korean more naturally, I’ll adjust each lesson to your level and goals. 🔥 Let’s make Korean a language you can actually use in real life!

I’ve taken multiples classes with Seoyoung, and with each class I’ve been able to see how prepared, patient and organized she can be. Even if it’s just an hour, I feel like I end up learning a lot, since she knows how to take advantage of time. In every class you’ll be able to practice speaking, grammar and vocabulary, improving rapidly. I’d totally recommend her!!
